Effect of Quenching Medium-Concentration and Temperature on Cooling Rate of Quenching Fluid
1. The influence of concentration on cooling rate: the concentration is
inversely proportional to the cooling rate, and the cooling rate
decreases with the increase of concentration, whereas the cooling rate
increases with the decrease of concentration. Therefore, if you want to
increase the cooling rate, then add tap water to reduce the
concentration, and vice versa, add quenching liquid concentration
increases, cooling rate decreases.
2. The effect of temperature on cooling rate: Simply speaking, the
higher the temperature, the lower the cooling rate; the lower the
temperature, the higher the cooling rate. Therefore, in order to
increase the cooling rate, the quenching agent can be cooled in
production to reduce the temperature; conversely, heating or stopping
the cooling cycle, increasing the quenching agent temperature, can
reduce the quenching cooling rate.
3. The influence of agitation on cooling rate: agitating quenching fluid
(packaging swing workpiece) can increase its quenching cooling rate;
conversely, reducing quenching cooling rate
